Interesting day in a wierd sort of way. Did the “Tourist” route via Strathalbyn, Goolwa, Victor Harbour, Cape Jervis and then up to Adelaide.
Being on the bike helped as the scenery was again mostly farming land and yet more pine trees with the odd ocean view but it was a fun road as evidenced by all the locals out for a ride. Every little town seems to follow the standard plan of Sunday markets on the promenade so bit hard to tell them apart.
Goolwa was different in that they had power boat races on. Stayed and watched a couple of races, very quick in a straight line but not very happy in the corners.
Rode out of Adelaide and decided I would stop at the first town I came to after 4 hence Port Pirie. Interesting place, 600 people, one pub but four service station within rock throwing distance of each other.
Off to Port Augusta in the morning and then head south towards Port Lincoln till I find somewhere nice as I plan on a short day tommorow.
